Juniper Crossing Farms is a designated Florida Century Pioneer Family Farm that has been in the family since 1858 near Quincy, FL. Located in the Northwest corner of Florida in Gadsen County, only 40 minutes from Tallahassee, we are not only raising Shorthorns and commercial cattle, we are raising the 7th generation on the farm.
Additionally, we are dedicated to helping youth accomplish their dreams and achieve their goals, especially by being proud supporters of 4-H.

Newest Aquisition Joins Juniper Crossing Farms in February 2022!
Hahn Surprise Me C17F will join us here in Florida in February 2022. Acquired from Bright Lights Show Cattle out of Beloit, WI after a highly successful show career and time spent creating the next generation for BLSC. Surprise Me originally hails from Hahn Family Shorthorns, LLC in Minonk, IL.

In addition to his own banners, progeny include both purebred Shorthorn and ShorthornPlus heifers and steers that have brought home many purple banners. We look forward to seeing the champions he will produce for us!
Big Changes are Happening
There have been a lot of changes over the last couple of years. My father was the backbone of our cattle operation. Since his sudden death a few months ago I was faced with some tough decisions.
We will no longer be raising sheep or goats. Thank you to all of our past buyers throughout the country.
I plan on having the occasional litter of puppies which will be announced when available. There are none available at this time.
I’m focused primarily on our Shorthorn and commercial beef cattle operation. We will have quality calves available throughout the year whether you’re interested in showing or raising your own beef. We are proud supporters of 4-H and FFA, and we’re more than happy to work with you if you’re SERIOUS about showing. It’s a wonderful opportunity to learn, make lifelong friends, and be a part of the cattle industry. So many kids have the drive but not the opportunity to show cattle, and we’re here to help bridge that gap.
